Software Patents Worldwide — Germany chapter hot off the press

As every year, I’ve used the Christmas holidays to update my contribution to Software Patents Worldwide. It’s a comprehensive loose-leaf collection published by Kluwer Law International and provides expert insights and how-to guidance on drafting software patent claims in the world’s key markets.

I’ve been co-authoring the chapter on software patents in Germany for four years now. The chapter includes:

  • Concise FAQs about German software patents
  • Practical recommendations for drafting software patent claims
  • Summaries of the relevant landmark decisions of the German Federal Court of Justice

The current edition of the Germany chapter will be officially published in March 2017.

Let me know if you want to grab a copy beforehand.

P.S.: This was just the tip of the iceberg. If you want more, get on my email list. I usually write an update every two weeks or so – it features inside knowledge and practical tips on European software patents. You can subscribe here.
